  Oh my gosh. So I contacted this company looking for a gluten-free birthday cake option for my almost 15 year old who has gluten sensitivities, and they don't do cakes, but they do do cupcakes. I decided to stop by there and get a small assortment of flavors I thought he'd enjoy, before he gets out of school, just to get an idea of what was involved. In my experience with gluten free, it's pretty hit-or-miss, and even from day-to-day it can be hit-or-miss in a typical Bakery setting. I was so pleasantly surprised, I cannot even tell you. First of all the store is just adorable. It's not very big, but it's clean and bright and right next to an open seating area in the Classen Curve shopping district which offers almost a park-like setting, so even if you decide to stop in there and get coffee and cupcakes or lunch or whatever and there isn't enough seating indoors, you can still wander outdoors. Secondly, there was a surprising amount of options for gluten free. About 12 different flavors which is just about shocking if you're used to looking for gluten-free anything. They do offer gluten free/vegan cupcakes as well as cookies, but unfortunately it does limit the selection quite a bit.
  I got a salted caramel, a mixture cupcake I can't remember the name of with chocolate chips in vanilla cake and chocolate icing and vanilla icing, a chocolate birthday sprinkles cake, a chocolate chip cookie dough, a, I want to say it was called a churro but it's some kind of cinnamon vanilla cream cheesy goodness, cake, and a regular chocolate. The salted caramel cake was amazing, actually all the cakes are amazing just so you know, but I found the vanilla frosting on top a bit too sweet. The caramel on top of that vanilla, though, is killer. The chocolate chip cookie dough one is just freaking phenomenal. I have a feeling my kid is going to want that one for his birthday cake because not only is the cake itself absolutely delicious with chocolate chips in it, but then they stack a glob of a gluten-free cookie dough on top and then drizzle chocolate on top of that even. It was so good. The chocolate based cupcakes have almost a dark chocolate taste to them, a little bit on the bitter side which is exactly what I like, personally. It really perfectly suits the sweeter frostings on top. Their general buttercreams are just about the perfect consistency and not too sweet except for the Salted Caramel one. My favourite for me personally, has got to be the churro one! Not only am I a big fan of cinnamon, and obviously they use the basic vanilla base cupcake which is just so good on its own, but I believe the frosting on top has a cream cheese-based because it is a lot less sweet than the other ones and being 40 years old sugar just does not appeal to me like it once did. All in all, the cakes are fluffy and moist with a nice crisp crust on top, the flavors are great, and the frostings are tasty. I highly highly highly suggest this place.

  There are better cupcake places in town. There are worse cupcake places in town. Green Goodies (GG) is somewhere in the middle. GG offers pretty cupcakes, in nice packaging, and they're displayed in a clean space. Those elements are certainly helping set GG apart from other places that have cupcakes that are way more delicious, but aren't necessarily as pretty looking (e.g. Cuppies & Joe).
  
  On that note, some of GG's cupcakes are offensively unpleasant. The Thin Mint cupcake is one of the worst tasting cupcakes I've ever had the displeasure of eating. There was way too much mint extract in the icing, and it officially qualifies as the most toothpaste-esque thing I've eaten in my life. And the cake being dry doesn't really help matters either. Just thinking about that cupcake makes me so mad that I'm actively debating right now on whether this is a [*][*][*] or [*][*] review...
  
  The other cupcakes I've had recently were fine, but none of them are going to leave you wanting more. I don't think I'd ever use the word "moist" to describe GG's cupcakes. Also, the overuse of buttercream icing is meh, because that's some low-effort icing. Even the cream cheese icing (on the Red Velvet for example) barely had that delicious tang that you expect with cream cheese icing; it was mostly muted because it was mixed in with buttercream icing.
  
  GG is kinda coasting on the clientele that frequent Classen Curve (read: the neighboring Nichols Hills folks), who for the most part seem to have more money than taste...
  
  Yeah, no, I'm going to have to drop a star. My last experience had only two cupcakes out of six that were above average, and that doesn't qualify as a "somewhere in the middle" [*][*][*] experience...

  These cupcakes are beautiful and yummy. Green Goodies makes gluten free, vegan, or classic cupcakes. They are not certified vegan or gluten free but they take precautions Today I had a chocolate gluten free (moist) cupcake with chocolate hazelnut icing.
  
  They also have wonderful gluten free cookies. And of course, many types of coffee

  Really Cute shop to grab a little shopping energy.   I had pour through coffee (hipster, right?).  Be forewarned that the coffee is really strong,  you will turn into Wonder Woman after just one cup!    My kid and I had traditional cupcakes,  but they do have vegan options.   I liked my cupcake, but my kid thought hers was rather dry.   She doesn't eat the frosting, so maybe that was it.   We had to move from our first seat because a dead bird on the window sill was really killing our hipster cupcake shop vibe.

  Amazing!!! The vegan chocolate chip cookie was very tasty. The chocolate cupcake rocked paired with a earl grey tea. Everything is super clean and very high quality. Nice place to hit up for a after school treat.
